Beginner Band Night

Who: Incoming 6th graders and their parents or guardians

What: Beginner Band Night is an opportunity to learn about the Dodd City Band program and get everything you need to help your student get started. Families can receive information about obtaining an instrument or even select one that evening.

When: Thursday, August 6
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This is a come-and-go event, so families may arrive at any time during the scheduled hours.

Where: Band Room in the High School (North Building)

Why: We want our beginning band students to get started as soon as possible and feel prepared for a successful year.

The instrument company we partner with will be on campus with instruments and information about rental and purchase options for families who choose to use their services. This is also a great opportunity to ask Mrs. Wild any questions you have about joining the Dodd City Band program.
We look forward to meeting our newest band members and helping them begin their musical journey!

Parent Square

Last year we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Dodd City ISD called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with DC ISD. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to communicate. Please check out the notification tips.
