Counselor
Counselor
My name is Mandy Jones, and I am proud to serve as the District School Counselor for Dodd City ISD, supporting students in PreK through 12th grade. With more than 25 years in Texas public education, I have had the privilege of serving students in many different roles, and I am excited to continue that work by supporting the academic, social, emotional, and future success of every Dodd City Hornet.
I believe that every student deserves to have someone in their corner—someone who will listen, encourage, guide, and help them recognize their own strengths and potential. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel seen, heard, valued, and confident as they navigate each stage of their educational journey.
As District Counselor, I am committed to partnering with students, families, teachers, and our community to help our Hornets set goals, overcome challenges, prepare for their futures, and become successful young adults. One of the things I value most about serving in a small school district is the opportunity to truly know our students and their families and to watch them grow from their earliest school years through graduation.
It is a privilege to be part of the Dodd City ISD family, and I look forward to helping each of our students discover their strengths, pursue their goals, and make the most of their years as a Dodd City Hornet.
