Undefeated Class 1A State champion Dodd City placed all of its starters on the All-Region III-1A girls basketball list by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches for 2021.

Seniors Dani Baccus and Journie Hilliard, juniors Tori Dotson and Kylee Graves and sophomore Rion Baccus garnered spots, after the No. 1-ranked Lady Hornets capped a 32-0 season with a victory over No. 2 and perennial-champion Nazareth, 30-21, in the 1A State title game on March 10.

Meanwhile, Ector senior Kyrin Beach also placed on the All-Region III-1A boys basketball list by TABC for 2021, after leading the Eagles to a second-straight district title and area-round advance.
