Lady Hornets v'ball now No. 5

Dodd City rose in the Class 1A-2A volleyball rankings by the Texas Girls Coaches Association on Aug. 31.

The 1A Lady Hornets, who ended August at 5-0, improved five spots to No. 5 in the combined poll, where Iola now leads the rankings which expanded to include the top 15 teams this week.

Meanwhile, Leonard again garnered a mention outside of the 3A poll where
Bushland remained on top.

Gunter and Pottsboro, District 11-3A opponents now for Leonard and Bonham, also received mentions in 3A.
