Dodd City Lady Hornets move to 5-0 with win over North Hopkins

Dodd City, Texas -- Journie Hilliard had 20 kills as the Dodd City Lady Hornets moved to 5-0 on the season with a four-set win over North Hopkins.

Dodd City set the tempo for the match by taking the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-22, but North Hopkins came back to post a 25-23 victory in the third set.

Dodd City finished strong with a 25-16 win in the fourth set to clinch the match.

In addition to the big outing by Hilliard, Ali Preas had five kills, Rion Baccus finished with four kills and Tori Dotson had three kills.

Dani Baccus doled out 23 assists, Kylee Graves had three assists and Addy Chaney came up with a dig.
