Dodd City, Texas -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets moved to 5-0 for the season with a three-set win over the Detroit Lady Eagles.

It was all Dodd City in a 25-14 victory in the first set and the Lady Hornets turned back the Lady Eagles, 25-20, in the second set. Dodd City finished the night with a 25-17 win to earn a sweep.

Dodd City's Journie Hilliard led the way with 10 kills and six blocks. Tori Dotson knocked down seven kills and slipped two aces through the Detroit defense. Ali Preas slammed down six kills to go along with a pair of blocks. Rion Baccus contributed a kill.

 

Dani Baccus handed out 15 assists to her Lady Hornet hitters.

 

Kylee Graves finished with five assists.

The Lady Hornets will host North Hopkins on Friday.
