Dodd City Junior High boys sweep Celeste

Dodd City, Texas -- The Dodd City seventh grade boys and the Dodd City eighth grade boys both enjoyed wins over Celeste Monday night.

The Dodd City seventh graders came out on top, 20-14, led by Maddox Lappin's nine points.

Charlie Wild put up five points, Caysen Lappin finished with four points and Matthew Stephens tossed in two points.

The Dodd City seventh grade boys are 1-0.

In the eighth grade boys contest, Jaden Mahar scored 16 to lead Dodd City to a 24-16 victory.

Ethan Bernard scored six, Trevon Wilson and Layton Vaught both finished with four points and John Gilbreath hit a free throw.

The Dodd City eighth grade boys are 1-0 on the season.

The Dodd City Junior High boys will be back in action December 2 at Wolfe City.
