Class 1A state-semifinalist Dodd City garnered four first-team selections to lead Fannin County players on the All-District 12-2A baseball team for 2019.

First-team selections included sophomore Brayden Vaught at pitcher, junior Zayne Kennon in the infield, junior Alec Simpson in the outfield and sophomore Aaron Munger as a utility player/designated hitter, after the Hornets finished as the 12-2A runner-up, advanced to the 1A postseason as the district's top seed and made their first state tournament trip since 2012.

Second-team selections included junior Dillon Jones at pitcher, sophomore Kason Carson in the infield and junior Jason Turner in the outfield for Dodd City; sophomores Sawyer Miller at catcher, Weston Whiteside as a utility player/designated hitter and junior Holden Reaves in the infield for Sam Rayburn; and sophomore Karson McKnight at pitcher and junior Kentavion 'Ta' Smith in the outfield for Honey Grove.
