San Antonio, Texas -- For the third year in a row, the Dodd City Lady Hornets have proved they are one of the top two Class A basketball programs in Texas after the Lady Hornets drubbed Moulton, 52-33, in the UIL State Basketball Tournament semifinals.

Dodd City will face old nemesis Nazareth in the state championship Saturday morning at 8:30.

The Lady Hornets dominated the first half, leading Moulton 14-3 at the first buzzer and building a 20-point cushion, 29-9, at the half. Moulton managed to be more competitive in the second half, but Dodd City punched its ticket to the big dance with a 19-point victory in the state semifinals.
