Wildcat Blooms Floral Cup Results - Emory, Texas

This competition was held on February 5th, It was a three round event where students had to individually compete to advance to the next round. There were around 175 competitors from about 20 schools. We had 4 Dodd City High School students to compete: Kenzi Freeman, Emma Garner, Kailen Kavanaugh, and Taylor Voss. For the first round, students had to provide their own Valentine's theme vases/containers, and the judges chose the top half of the competitors for each division to advance. All 4 of our students advanced! In the second round, they had to design an abstract Valentine's arrangement. Emma Garner advanced from that round to make it to the third round where she would eventually be named Grand Champion in the Beginners Division. We are proud of each of our students for taking their skills from their floral classes to the next level.
