Campbell, Texas -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets routed the Campbell Lady Indians, 67-16, to move to 2-0 in District 19-1A.

The Lady Hornets poured in 26 points in the first quarter, paced by 18 points from high-scoring junior Addison Weeks, to take a 26-6 lead into the second period.

Dodd City had a 42-10 cushion at the half and then shut out Campbell in the third period to build a commanding 56-10 lead going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Hornets coasted to a 51-point win on the road, 67-16.

Weeks led all scorers with 37 points and Kendyl Lindsey aalso finished in double digits with 10 points. Gracyn Shindler put up eight points, Ralyn Daniels scored six, Caroline Lackey finished with four points and Kayleigh McBrayer tossed in two points.

The Dodd City Lady Hornets (13-8, 2-0) will host Fannindel on Friday, January 10.
