Hornets looking for sixth-consecutive regional final baseball trip

Class 1A Dodd City will vie on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Sanger High School for its sixth-straight trip to the baseball regional finals.

The Hornets (14-5), who are making their 14th-straight postseason advance, will face Electra in a one-game Region II-1A semifinal round.

In the other one-game Region II-1A semifinal round, Abbott and Meridian will vie on Saturday at
1 p.m. at Cleburne High School.

The winners will vie in the Region II-1A Final round by May 25 -- for a trip to State.
