A+ Athlete Presentation – Addyson Chaney

Hi, I’m Zach Lovelace with Classic Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers.
We are here to present Addyson Chaney with a $1,000.00 scholarship
for being our A+ Athlete of the Week.
Addyson is an exceptional student, holding the top rank in her class
with an impressive 99.9 GPA. Beyond academics, she actively
contributes to the school community by serving as the vice president of
the National Honors Society and leading the Dodd City student
government as its president. Her commitment extends to volunteer
work with the Bonham VA, and she plays a role on the yearbook staff.
Recognizing the priority of academics and athletics, Addyson sets high
standards for herself, consistently striving for excellence in whether it’s
on the court, field, or in the classroom.
As a versatile four-sport athlete for the Lady Hornets, Addyson has
excelled academically and made significant contributions in basketball,
volleyball, softball, and cross country. She played a pivotal role in Dodd
City's basketball state championship in 2021, earning various accolades
such as all-state, all-tournament, all-district, all-region, and team
captain. Her leadership extends to volleyball, where she served as
captain and earned the district MVP title. Addyson also contributes as
an all-district softball player and was part of the state-winning softball
team. Her endurance shines in cross country, highlighting exceptional
performance across multiple sports.
