DC Lady Hornets volleyball No. 3 in Class 1A Top-25 rankings

Dodd City rose to No. 3 in Class 1A on Aug. 28, in the Top-25 volleyball rankings by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Defending champion Blum again led the 1A poll, which also included No. 4 Graford, No. 11 Saint Jo, No. 12 Perrin-Whitt and No. 13 Miller Grove.

The 3A poll included: No. 1 Goliad, No. 2 Paris Chisum, No. 4 Bells, No. 19 Commerce, No. 23 Gunter (defending champion) and No. 25 Ponder.

The 2A poll included: No. 1 Jewett Leon, No. 4 Windthorst (defending champion), No. 5 Detroit and No. 11 Como-Pickton.
